Ashampoo Disk Space Explorer lets you see all the contents of your different storage media in a graphic and user-friendly manner. It can show all your files classified by size or type, as well as show them in a graphic form. At startup, the program asks you to select a disk to be analyzed. By default, the chosen drive is C:, but you can change it in case that you have more than one hard drive or storage media connected to your computer. Once you have selected the drive you want to analyze, the program starts scanning it, and when finished, it shows three options. In the first one, all the fines in the drive are shown. You can sort them by name, size, and percentage of space used. The second option shows you the file distribution of files in a graphic form. You can set the program to show only sound or graphic files, for example. The third option shows the files arranged by type, so you can see, for example, if the video files are the ones that use more space in your drive. In general, the interface is nice and user-friendly, so you won't have any trouble using it. An important drawback I found was that my keyboard was disabled during the installation process, as well as in the subsequent use. I needed to restart the computer to use my keyboard again. I don't know if this happens to all users, but for me, it was rather annoying. The program is free to download and use, but you need to register using a valid e-mail address.
