Arch Custom Shapes Description

Arch custom shapes for Photoshop and Elements 240 Arch and bridge custom shapes for Photoshop CS5 CS4 CS3 CS2 CS 7 6 and Elements 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. License: Commercial use OK, by graphicxtras, create items for sale. Arches shapes, bridge shapes, cloisters, buildings shapes, etc. Open using Photoshop file > open. Use the arch custom shapes via shapes tool / panel as well as cookie cutter tool in Elements. Custom shapes are Stored in standard CSH format. Use the arch custom shapes as layers, selections, fills etc. The arches are all for commercial work as well as personal as part of a logo, use in books, leaflets, web pages, videos, jewels, CDs, illustrations, scrapbooking designs, etc (see the license or contact us if you have any concerns or see the examples list of possible uses). The arch designs are all stored in native CSH format and can be loaded into Photoshop or elements by the file > open command, that is probably the easiest way to load the arch designs. If you use the load option then the existing shapes are not removed and the arches will be just added to the bottom of the custom shapes palette. There are limits to the number of designs that can be added to the palette (just be aware of that if an error message appears). You can also load the shapes via the shapes palette itself via the right side menu. The menu also offers the option to replace the existing shapes. If you make changes to the arch shapes and save the designs to the palette, you can also use the save command in the palette to save the designs for future use. You can use the edit > preset manager command to load the shapes also, the preset manager also gives the additional feature of being able to save a single arch as well as all the designs currently in the loaded library) The arches can be used in 1000s of different ways in Photoshop as well as Elements. The arch designs can be re-colored via the main toolbox, the color is set via the foreground color - also you can change the color by simply clicking the swatch color in the swatches palette - which is a probably the easiest way to change the arch color. The arch color can also be changed, if is applied as a shape, via the color overlay option in the layer dialog. You can also use adjustment layers and the hue option to change the color of the arch (access the ever useful adjustment layer option via the layer palette). There are probably, knowing Photoshop, many other ways to change the color of the arch (such as using filters or actions etc) The arches can be modified by pen tools - Photoshop offers a selection of pen tools to manipulate the arch artworks (though they are not in the same league as a true vector application such as Illustrator or FontLab) so you can add points, remove points, modify points - you can also use the pathfinder add and subtract and intersect commands to add and remove parts of the arch design which can be used to create some very unusual arches (such as frame arches etc) If you posses a copy of Illustrator you can always copy the arch artwork over to Illustrator via the pasteboard and manipulate the arch shape there. If the arch is a layer or path it can be modified without any impact to the quality of the design by using the various transformation tools that come with Photoshop such as applying scaling, rotation, slant, perspective as well as using the warp features to arc or bulge the arch design. To use the puppet warp (edit menu) you will have to use the rasterize layer first or create the design using the fill option - the puppet warp does offer a lot more ways to distort and transform the arch designs though.
