Ap PDF to Image is an intuitive application able to convert PDF files to different file formats, namely JPEG, BMP, WMF, PNG, GIF, TIFF, EMF and PCX. The user interface is straightforward and gives users the possibility of adding the items to the list by either using the “drag and drop” method or built-in browse function. Ap PDF to Image supports batch processing, which means you can add multiple PDFs to the list and convert them in the same time. You are allowed to convert encrypted PDFs, provided that you have specified the correct password. Furthermore, the generated images can be saved to the same location as the PDF files or to the specified saving directory. When it comes to page options, you are allowed to select the page range (first, last or custom pages), pick the zooming level and size, and specify the rotation angle. It is possible to select the output format, change the image resolution, and configure JPEG parameters by selecting the quality and color mode (high color or grayscale). What’s more, you may enable the log monitoring option to view details about the entire conversion process and possible errors. During our testing we have noticed that the program finishes a task very quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. It doesn’t eat up CPU and memory, so it doesn’t affect the overall performance of the computer. To sum things up, Ap PDF to Image is a simple application that doesn’t come packed with many advanced features. However, it does what it says and is suitable for less experienced users.
