Animosaix helps you give a unique and artistic look to the pictures you use as desktop wallpapers or as the computer's screensaver. It has the power of transforming any image into a beautiful mosaic and make your desktop look like a real piece of art.Switch to another wallpaper with just a clickThe application is designed to run in the system tray without bothering you at all, but you must take the time to configure it at first launch. Doing so requires you to select the location of the input images that will be used for generating the mosaics. The system tray menu enables you to refresh the wallpaper and load an image to be used for creating a mosaic and placing it on the desktop. Various mosaic styles at your disposalIn addition to this, you can customize the way Animosaix displays the generated wallpaper and set the refresh time interval. When the wallpaper changes, the application displays a prompt window requesting you to keep it, use a different style or return to your old desktop background. There are various mosaic styles that you can apply, from classic ones to circles, rings, puzzles, discs, bricks and windows-based ones. The image can be either adjusted to fit the screen dimensions or set to fill it and you can instruct the application to identify and use photos that have the same orientation as the desktop.
