Aneesoft Free BlackBerry Video Converter is a multi-format video converter. It allows you to convert files for playback on BlackBerry phones. There are only three conversion profiles available, and they are the standard 3GP, MP4, and AVI formats. There are no optimized profiles for any of the BlackBerry phones. Also, this application showed a few problems with its interface. Namely, with the "Add file" window, which acted weird and didn't let me browse my computer like the standard Windows Explorer window. The free version of this app has limited input format support. The formats that are not supported have an icon that reads "PRO" next to them. Also, the video editor and the merge assistant are disabled in the free version. In my testing, I used a DIVX AVI file that I use for testing video converters. I chose the 3GP profile to test the conversion process. The file was converted with no errors, but the file had no audio at all. The built-in video player played audio just fine, but I couldn't see any video. These two problems are important, especially for a free converter that basically can't convert a simple DIVX file.
