Amaze Flv Converter is a lightweight and simple-to-use program which allows you to encode video files with the FLV format to VCDs and MP3s. The interface of the program is based on a plain and easy-to-work-with window in which you can import video clips by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch conversion is possible but you can add only one file at a time. In the list you can check out the source path of each clip. So, all you have to do is specify the output profile (VCD NTSC or PAL, MP3) and proceed with the encoding process by pressing the "Start" button. Furthermore, you can specify a post-task action (show message, do nothing, quit program), as well as remove an item from the list or clear the entire queue. The straightforward video processing program takes up a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a good image and sound quality. We haven't encountered any issues during our tests, since Amaze Flv Converter did not freeze or crash. On the other hand, the interface is outdated, there is no help file available, you cannot configure audio and video settings or the program's behavior and you cannot change the output directory (files are automatically created in the same directory as the original ones).
