Albatross is an excellent tool to structure the knowledge in the IT department. Albatross presents the new concept of code bricks and knowledge environments. First of all, Albatross is a powerful extension to every program editor (Visual basic, C, Delphi...). Code you have to use many times again and again you can put in code bricks. With one click you can add the bricks to your program editor. In the bricks you can use 14 different types of input fields. With this advanced system you can e.g. build advanced SQL statements without typing fields or table names and you will never lose time again with typing connection strings, filenames, field and table names.You can write parts of your source code with the mouse. You can also put the company standard code in the bricks. No excuses anymore for the programmers to use other code. The code bricks are also a powerful instrument to teach a computer language. The teacher can show more examples in the training. Afterwards the students can use the code bricks in their work environment. You can convert the code bricks to HTML pages and put them on the Internet. You can also build knowledge environments with Albatross. Put all the knowledge you have about one computer language in an environment: Manuals, Albatross code bricks, code standards, examples, support addresses, Internet links... You can use the environment in Windows or convert it to an Internet site with one mouse click. On the same way you can make project environments.
