Aiseesoft iPad 2 Transfer lets you manage your iPad's content. The app was designed to let you manage the content of your iPad without needing to use iTunes at all. When you first run the application, you will see a list of all the supported devices connected to your computer. When you click on one of the devices, you will see a summary of the device on the pane on the right. This summary shows the space used, your device name, capacity, and serial number. Under the device name, on the left, you will see the category of content that you can manage. In my case, I was able to see music, movies, ringtones, the camera roll and all my pictures. Below that are a few buttons that take you to extra features like a DVD ripper, a video converter and an iPhone ringtone maker. These allow you to convert files and DVD movies so that you can put them on your iPad. There are two versions of this app; the Standard and the Platinum versions. They are very similar, with the exception that the Platinum version lets you manage more content, like SMS messages, TV shows, ePub books, etc. In my testing, I used the Standard version, and I was able to get content off my iPad with no problems.
