Aimersoft Video Converter for BlackBerry is an application designed to help you prepare audio and video files (e.g. OGG, MKA, AVI, MOV, FLV) for BlackBerry devices. The interface of the program is clean and pretty intuitive. Media files can be imported into the file queue by using either the file browser, folder view or "drag and drop" function. It is possible to work with multiple items at the same time. The file list allows you to view the initial and output name and format, along with the default trimmed length and estimated size of each entry. If you are satisfied with the default settings, then you can immediately proceed with the conversion process after specifying the output profile and directory. Otherwise, you can configure audio and video settings in regard to the resolution, encoder, frame rate, bit rate, channel mode and frequency. You can either create a new output profile or restore options to their initial values. Additionally, you can preview videos in a built-in media player and capture frames, as well as crop, merge and trim clips. Aimersoft Video Converter for BlackBerry also gives you the possibility of adjusting the image (e.g. brightness) and of applying effects (e.g. graysale). Also, you can add watermarks (text or picture) and load subtitles. In the "Preferences" section you can change the interface language, select the number of CPU cores to be used and set Aimersoft Video Converter for BlackBerry to automatically check for program updates online. While the tool is converting a media file, you can make it open the output directory or turn off the computer after the task is done. The video encoding tool requires a moderate-to-high amount of system resources to complete a task in short time. It has a help file and preserves a fair image and sound quality in the output videos.
