AdlerCalculator Description

AdlerCalculator is a component which will be agreat help in software development. One thing most developers must do at some point is the computation of a checksum. Many libraries exist for this task, but I haven't found one for Visual Basic developers, which calculates an Adler-32 hash in an agreeable time. Therefore, FaVorithSoft written this C++ library, which computes Adler-32 checksums incredibly fast and, furthermore, is specialized for use with Visual Basic Classic (also known as Visual Basic 6). However, you can use it with other programming languages, as well. The download package includes the library itself and a demo project written in Visual Basic to demonstrate its usage.
