This software is for viewing and editing the address book database which is created by Apple Address Book. At Apple Address Book you can only edit address data by person, but at this software you can see addresses of group members all together like on a spread sheet and edit them. However this software doesn't yet have all the features that Apple Address Book has. So you should use this together with Apple Address Book for the time being. What’s new at AddressBookAid 1.1: 1.-Printing function is added. You can select a style from List, Book, Label, Envelope, Hagaki. Especially Envelop is designed for printing contacts of your Address Book on Envelope. 2. -Feature description is added in Help menu. It’s simple but will help you using AddressBookAid. View and edit address database When this software is launched, it reads the Address Book database from the system and shows it in one window. Just like in Apple Address Book, when you select a group in the left column, the member list is displayed in the Middle column. When you select a member, registered data for the person of member is displayed in the right column. The followings are the features of this software that are different from Apple Address Book. When you select the "View & Edit type" popup menu and click the button in the bottom of the window, you can chose from Addresses, Phones, Personal Information. Then you can see the data of a selected group member in one window like on a spread sheet, and you can edit it. To edit the data, you just double click the cell in the table of the window. You can type any characters in the cell except for Birthday and Other Date. Then you will see it updated in the right column of the main window.
