Sometimes, when the embedded controls/applets load slower than ActivateAX script, then ActivateAX will FAIL. The result is a graceful degradation, and the web page will perform normally as if ActivateAX is never added. But after the first page load, the same page will perform fine, as all the controls are stored in browser Cache.
