Features: Axigen Mail Server provides a communication solution. It is specifically designed for small and medium business. It is easily administered and makes for easy user access to the mail system. Yet it offers comprehensive security features. Administration is through a web administration. Several personal organizers are available that include calendar, tasks, notes and journal. Web mail can be accessed from PCs and mobile phones. Security, anti virus and anti-spam features make the communication solution quite robust. It works on 2003 and 2008 servers. (E)SMTP, POP3, IMAP4 and Web-mail services, list server, logging & reporting, personal organizer, central WEB/CLI administration are the highlights of the facilities available. Several address books can be organized and these are personal, public and domain contacts. Organizers include Calendar/Journal/Tasks/Notes, iCal/Webcal access on Mozilla Thunderbird/Lightning, Apple iCal, Korganizer etc. The mail module contains SMTP, POP3 and IMAP servers, a skinnable web-mail server that has a mobile interface and is multi-lingual. There`s a mailing list server, automatic migration features, anti-virus and anti-spam etc. A outlook connector and shared folders as well as mailbox level permissions can be set. MS Exchange active sync connector is also available. Remote administration is possible through the web interface, account classes can be created and 100 odd reports obtained through the interface. Client web-mail interface provides several color schemes to choose from, rules wizard, preview pane and vacation/ out of office message set up. Comprehensive charts & stats make administration easier. Messages sent to multiple recipients are stored only once while queue management and queries make administration comfortable. Security and anti-spam protections are helped by multi layer access control, authentication and encryption, SPF and Domainkeys compliance, ant impersonation and password enforcement policies, blacklist and white-list as well as message acceptance rule.
