Improves the graphics rendering in games that need to load a lot of objects to provide a better overall gameplay experience. Works with GPUs with at least 256 MB dedicated memory. AGEIA PhysX (also known as Nvidia Physx) software is designed for improving the performance of your Nvidia graphic card. It needs a graphic card with minimum of 32 CUDA cores and 256MB dedicated graphics memory. The program improves the rendering graphics in games that uses a lot of objects. Recently, ATI and NVIDIA were developing GPGPU (General-purpose computing on graphics processing units). This is an API (programming interface) to use the GPU (graphics processing unit) for aiding the CPU. Graphic cards are optimized for performing calculations in handling images and videos. Any Nviidia card with GPGPU capability can take advantage of Physx. The software installs necessary settings in Nvidia display driver control panel. We can use it to control the quality of Physx acceleration. GeForce 400-series, 300-series, 200-series, 100-series, 9-series, and 8-series GPUs (with minimum of 32 cores and a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory) are the supported products.
