video prev next AD Audit Plus is a Desktop Management program with the help of which one person or many people can monitor and audit the Active Directory of a certain organization. The application keeps track of the Active directory events and alerts if any changes occur in the Active directory. It tracks Logon Events and audits changes occurred on Domain Policy, OU, GPO, Group, Computer, and User, giving you reports and alerts as a result. The program is aimed at IT managers, administrators, and auditors. The interface is easy to use, in spite of that there are many menus and submenus. The dominant color is a nice light blue. Any Active directory change is recorded in the Event viewer. The data which is recorded there is a little complex to understand. AD Audit Plus 4.0 is capable of extracting and translating the data in the event viewer into meaningful and comprehensive information that can be easily understood by the target user. AD Audit Plus gives a detailed information of the type of changes occurred, the person or the computer that have made them, and on what time they were made. After all the data about the changes is collected, it is archived. All audit events are stored in a security log file, which size is very limited. When the limit is reached, all events are overwritten in the same file. However, there is the option “Do not overwrite” with which the administrator can clear the logs manually.
