Open Door Rx's custom app lets you send prescription information directly to the pharmacy without the burden of a fax machine, calling the medication in by phone, or of hand delivering the prescription. The app allows the user to take a picture of the prescription and with the push of a button send it as a HIPAA compliant fax to the pharmacy. Also, you can take a picture of the insurance card and similarly transmit it to the pharmacy to speed up processing. Once we have obtained this information, we simply call and schedule the free delivery to get the customer back to getting well. Simple, easy. The way life should be.
