Get a good idea of the mobile signal strength in just a simple 1X1 widget without taking too much space. IMPORTANT: Samsung users - Read the notesThis is a widget. Drag the widget onto the homescreen from the list of installed widgets.Permissions - The app requires more permissions now for accessing the info shown in the Network Info screen and showing the Google ads.Widget can be extensively customized and there are also notifications for out of service and roaming conditions.Notes:- 1. Some Samsung phones (SGSII, Tab 10.1 and Note) dont seem to be supporting signal strength refresh.This is not a problem with the app. The user has to go settings> About Phone> Status> Signal Strength before the phone sends a refresh to the widget. It looks like even the default android 4bar in the status bar is affected. Feedback by email would be appreciated. SGSII users report problem resolved if they upgrade to ICS or Android 2.3.6 or baseband to I9100XXLP1.2. Honeycomb and ICS users need to launch dummy activity from launcher before widget becomes available in list of widgets after installation.
