No Plex or other server required! ***Use Video & TV Cast to browse through the web and stream any web-video, online-movie, livestream or live-tv show you want to your Nexus Player. Mp4, m3u8 and other video formats are supported, of course in full hd. Just navigate to your favorite website and send the embedded video with a single tap to your Nexus Player. The discovered video will be shown below the browser. A tap on the video link will send it to your Nexus Player immediately. You don't need to install a Plex or other media server.* Flash video and DRM protected web-videos, online-movies, livestreams and live-tv shows like HBO Now, Netflix and Amazon Prime Instant Video are not supported!* You can only stream and play the video part of a website and not the whole website content. This is not screen mirroring, but true video streaming in full hd, if available. * Sometimes it is necessary to play the video (mp4, m3u8 or other) in FULLSCREEN MODE in our browser before it gets discovered by the app for streaming. * To play mp4, m3u8 or other video files directly on Nexus Player just enter the full video-url in the browser adress bar, then load the video, wait for video detection and tap on "tap here to cast" below the browser.* If you use Android 4.3 or later, please make sure to install the latest official Google WebView Update from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.webview* If a specific web-video, online-movie, livestream or live-tv show does not stream, please give us a chance to help you by dropping a mail to nexus-player@video-tv-cast.com instead of leaving a negative comment on the Play Store. We will try to add support for your mp4, m3u8 or other video as soon as possible.* There is no need to install a media server like Plex on your PC or laptop. Casting works straight from your Android device to Chromecast with any mp4 or m3u8 file.* Security Note: For your safety Video & TV cast only needs minimal Android permissions to work. Unlike others we do NOT access your identity data, accounts, device id, phone status, gps location or contacts. If your Nexus Player is not found, please restart the app.2) Google your favorite video (e.g. on youtube) or enter the video-url directly in the browser adress bar by tapping on the pen icon in the menu bar.3) Wait some seconds until the video link (mp4, m3u8, etc.) is shown below the browser. If "No videolink found to cast" stays, please play the video locally in the browser first and open it in fullscreen mode, then wait some seconds.4) After the link is detected tap on "Tap here to cast" below the browser and casting will start.
