This alarm clock was inspired by the simplicity of the venerable night stand and travel alarm clocks that have woken us up for years.The alarm time is set by dragging the alarm arm to the desired wake up time, an action you can do very quickly and almost unconsciously as compared to scrolling through number wheels.The main feature of this alarm clock is its lack of features: - single alarm time - no AM/PM selection - single alarm tone - single screenAlarm clocks are a device where less is indeed more !NOTE: This is an ad supported app, and is therefore free. For the ad free version, which is not free :) please see Simple Alarm Clock in the app store.DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME (DST) NOTE: Like a mechanical clock, this app does not take into account a transition in to or out of DST. If you set the alarm for 8 AM the night before DST changes the alarm will sound at 7AM for the fall transition out of DST and 9 AM for the spring transition into DST. We are working on fixing this.IOS 7 NOTE: There is a bug in IOS 7. If you try to silence the alarm by sliding on the notification the alarm will not silence. Sliding on the screen lock will silence the alarm. This does not happen in IOS 6 (and before) and in IOS 8. Unfortunately, sInce this is a bug in IOS 7 itself, there is nothing I can do to fix it.
