Day View is the fast Calendar with the fantastic intelligent date wheels. The date wheels supports you to easily find the correct date, weekday or week. While you are spinning the wheels to move between different days, the program rapidly shows the events/birthdays for today in a compact list format. The list gives you a quick and compact overview over the whole day. All events are of course listed in time order.If you click at the event list, you will enter a more detailed day table where you can edit, add or delete the events. Application icon now can show current day or week number and the first day of the week can be set to Sunday or Monday (default)Both these new functions can be setup in the device global Settings. You need to activate the application again to activate changed settings.SUPPORTED CALENDARS:This program can work with any calendar that the standard Calendar can manage. For instance you can:•Work with the local calendar•Sync through iTunes•Use Goggle calendars•Use MobileMe calendar•Work with any CalDav calendarSEARCH FOR ANYTHING:You can search for any text within the title, location or note for an event. Or you can search for the name of somebodies birthday, if you have marked the birthday in your device's contacts. THE INTELLIGENT DATE WHEELSThe powerful intelligent date wheels are more than simple date selection tools! They will also answer the following date questions: 1 When does week with number XX occur? 2 What is the weekday for a specific date? 3 What is the date for the week number XX? Watch how the weekday and week number changes dynamically while you are rolling the wheels! SETUP:Before you can select a newly added subscribed calendar to use in this program, you must configure the calendar settings in your device "Settings" application. Sometimes you must also first temporary activate a new calendar subscription in the standard "Calendar" program and then select it from this program. Thereafter you can deactivate the calendar again in the standard "Calendar" program if you want. LIMITATIONS:This calendar works for all dates for the years 2010-2021. Limitation: The week numbering is by default performed according to ISO 8601, i.e. the week starts on a Monday, however the first day of a week can be changed to Sunday. Only the Gregorian calendar is supported.If you are looking for a slow calendar, spending a lot of time to draw fancy colorful graphics, this calendar is nothing for you. We believe a simple sorted textual description is better for many activities, since it is more compressed and easy to view.
