Hong Kong Applied Science & Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) has a team of excellent researchers led by prominent technologies to carry out quality research. The Antenna & Digital RF Team is one of the most innovative research teams within ASTRI in the Communication Technology domain. The ASTRI Antenna R&D Centre combines both experienced engineering talents with industrial grade measurement facilities and equipment. The engineering team has solid experience in both far- field antenna and near-field RF designs. The Centre offers a wide range of antenna & RF design and measurement services from basic measurement to complete design, from project inception to final production. The Digital-RF team provides low-cost wireless base station systems & digital repeaters targeting emerging applications. The team focuses on applying new signal processing techniques to existing wireless standards, as well as on delivering practical, low-cost hardware. Deliverables include both hardware and FPGA implementation of innovative signal processing techniques, such as digital pre-distortion (DPD), beam-forming and interference cancellation (ICS).
