YACMU performs the periodic maintenance tasks on your click YACMU (Yet Another Cron Maintenance Utility) is a small ultility written in Applescript.This small app is based on the simple shell script "sudo periodic xxxxx"( where xxxxx can be daily, weekly or monthly).The above shell script, in order to run, needs admin privileges; this is why you will be asked to prompt your admin password.You can run 3 kind of maintenance: daily, weekly and monthly.The system normally operates these tasks during the night. But if you keep your Mac off after midnight Mac OS can't perform this kind of maintenance. So you can use YACMU.Backup you system before run to avoid problems.This app is provided "as is", without warranties or support, so by use it at your own risk.
