2D backstripping of sedimentary strata OSXBackstrip performs 1D "Airy type" Backstripping of Sedimentary Strata.You can easily input the data, produce backstrip plots, edit plots for publication, save the data and the plots. OSXBackstrip makes backstripping easy.OSXBackstrip uses the SM2DGraphView Framework by Snowmint Creative Solutions.OSXBackstrip is a free Mac application that will help you perform "1D Airy backstripping with exponential reduction of porosity". Stratigraphic units can be easily entered in a table, backstripping and tectonic subsidence plots and tables can be rapidly produced. Plots can be edited, sent to drawing programs, or saved for publications. Multiple sections can be backstripped and compared.NOTE: OSXBackstrip is freeware for non-profit, academic purposes.
