Open source synthetic benchmark for Mac OS X Leopard iBench is an open source synthetic benchmark for Mac OS X Leopard that contains 21 tests (12 of integer workload and 9 of floating point) of real usage that allow you to check and compare the CPU and memory performance of your Mac.A benchmark is an application that allows to measure the performance of many components, even hardware or software, like a data base system, a CPU, or a Web server.Why are files in my Desktop after execution?They are the results of the image tests. One represents the Mandelbrot set, a fractal generated by a floating point test. Others are result of the Gaussian blur, edge detection and JPEG compression tests. Requirements: · 512 MB RAM What's New in This Release: Bug fixes: · Solved an error on Core i5 and i7 based iMacs hardware identification. Known issues: · There is a bug that crashes iBench on the open file panel, please use list or icon view on it instead of columns view to avoid it until is solved.
