Open source software developed in Ruby that will allow you to send mass emails bulkmail is a simple bulk mailing utility in Ruby. bulkmail takes a content file and a recipients file, and sends the content to each address listed in the recipients file.bulkmail will send each email by connecting directly to each recipient‘s SMTP server, therefore you do not need your own SMTP server in order to send messages.NOTES: 1. bulkmail uses pNet-DNS for making DNS queries. The current version of pNet-DNS throws out a bunch of warnings. You can ignore them.2. bulkmail is provided and licensed under the terms of the MIT/X Consortium License. What's New in This Release: · This release was completely rewritten from the ground up. You no longer need your own SMTP server! Bulkmail sends email by connecting to the recipient's SMTP server. Also included in this release is a useful thread pool, which bulkmail uses to send email to multiple recipients concurrently.
