TaskCard Description

Mac desktop task management TaskCard is a simple and visual way to organize your tasks and thoughts into to-do lists. Like sticky notes on the desk, TaskCards can be posted and organized in different sizes and colors around your desktop to help you remember important things or keep lists for projects. TaskCard is also a to-do application which lets you set due dates for tasks so you can keep on track and on time.TaskCard is for people like you and me who are always keeping little pieces of paper with check lists all over our desk and TextEdit files clogging up the Documents and Desktop folder on our Mac. TaskCard is also a great tool for task management of projects which generate lists of things to-do and requires dates to keep the project on time. Here are some key features of "TaskCard": · Move around tasks to arrange order, create trees (sub-tasks) and drag to other cards. · "Sheets" which allow you to group cards into projects that can be switched around easily. · Never in the way. Fades in when you click it's icon and out when applications are changed. · Quickly set due dates and see which takes are overdue. · Full of handy one-key shortcuts so you don't have to always use the mouse. · Unique totally custom interface like no other application for Mac OS X. · Customize the appearance of cards. · 100% Unicode savvy which supports other languages besides English. Limitations: · Limited to creating 3 cards at once and 2 sheets What's New in This Release: · In the File menu cards can be exported as text. · Auto-adjust text color by brightness of card (option in preferences) · Auto-adjust card height when opening/closing containers depending on how many tasks are in the card (option in preferences) · Cards can now be minimized to save space (option to hide button in preferences) · Sheet files can be opened via the Finder or dragging them on the icon in the Dock. · Japanese text input (and probably other languages including Chinese) during editing sessions is working correctly. · There is a menu command in the File menu to add tasks at the start or end of a card. · Go to Sheet Folder command actually opens the folder now instead of just revealing it. · Moving the selection with the keyboard below the last task will clear the selection (so the next task will be created at the end of the card) · Selection outline for tasks in cards that don't have focus is drawn with less opacity. · Fixed a bug that would cause TaskCard to crash if the default fonts Tahoma or Verdana were disabled in the Font Book or deleted. · "" also makes tasks into containers (easier for laptop keyboard layouts)
