A free and lightweight automation framework to automate stuff, written in Python Sysyphus is useful to write automation and build scripts in the Python programming language, using a very simple API. Sysyphus is similar in spirit to build tools like ant (from the Java world), but uses pure Python syntax to define tasks. Execution of all further tasks is stopped when a task is aborted in an execution/dependency chain.
