StepMenus Description

StepMenus - NeXT Step style main menu for Cocoa Mac OS X applications StepMenus is a free and open source package that will provide you with NeXT Step style main menu for Cocoa Mac OS X applications. Especially useful with a multi-monitor Mac.For those who don't know, menus in NeXTSTEP float around in their own window as shown in the shot on the left. You can drag them around by their title bar and put them where you want. You can even drag around submenus, in which case they become a permanent fixture (at least until you close them) so you can quickly access common functions, even if they are buried several levels deep (of course a common item should never be that deep in the menu). Installation:1. Open the package contents2. Make a new directory ~/Library/InputManagers/StepMenus3. Copy the Info and StepMenus.bundle files to the directory you just created4. Copy StepMenus.prefPane to ~/Library/PreferencePanesUninstallation: Just remove all the file syou have copied on your system during the installation.NOTE: StepMenus is licensed and distributed under the terms of the BSD License.
