Download the "Show or Hide Hidden Files" application2. Launch "Show or Hide Hidden Files.app"3. If prompted, select whether you want to show or hide hidden files.How it works:Show or Hide Hidden Files will check your finder plist file for the current state of the parameter "AppleShowAllFiles". If its true, it set it to false and restarts the Finder, and vice versa if its false. If parameter doesn't exists, the app asks the user what they want to do and does that.
