Rousseau is a numbered musical notation app for amateur musicians but also to professionals. The seven-note keypad produces ordinary and numbered notation that appears on screen to the sound of an Italian harpsichord. Buttons allow for playback, key and octave change, accidentals and formatting. A left hand list of iReal b songs can can be imported as templates. Songs are saved as individual .irb files for easy import back into iReal b.Numbered musical notation system was invented by Geneva-born philosopher and composer Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778) who first presented it to the French Academy of Sciences in 1742. It is very similar to currently used Chinese simplified notation. This version of Rousseau is offered free of charge for the June 28, 2012 tricentennial celebration. Many thanks to those who downloaded the iOS version.NOTE: To download Rousseau via the App Store, an Apple account is required.
