Photometrics X - Created for theatrical lighting designers and technicians, calculates theatrical fixture photometrics "Photometrics X, formerly Lighting Designer Photometrics was created for theatrical lighting designers and technicians. It allows easy predictions of the size of a pool of light given the type of lighting instrument used and the throw distance. Photometrics X will also recommend a specific lighting instrument given a desired throw distance and field diameter of the beam of light.Lighting Designer Photometrics was created to ease the lighting design process by eliminating the need for tedious mathematical calculations adn triangulation.We already started working at other versions of Photometrics X, and later versions will include a more flexible input system and a significantly larger repertoire of instruments as well as options for determining additional photometric data.
