NavigX - Convert from Latitude/Longitude Coordinates to Ordnance Survey Grid References and vice-versa The NavigX Widget plugs into your OS X Dashboard and allows you to convert from Latitude/Longitude (Lat/Long) Coordinates to Ordnance Survey Grid References (OS Grid) and vice-versa.To use the widget, all you need to do is enter EITHER a Lat/Long OR an OS Grid and click the 'Convert' button. You'll see the result displayed pretty much instantaneously. The 'Reset' button clears all of the fields on the widget.By default, NavigX will calculate OS Grid References to 6-figure precision but you can easily go up to 10-figure precision if you really need to.NOTES:1. Lat/Long coordinates are entered in the format: 59 26 12.345 N (for 59 26' 12.345" North).2. An Ordnance Survey Grid Reference is entered in the format NY995346; grid square followed by co-ordinates as 6, 8 or 10 figure grid reference.3. The Ordnance Survey Grid ONLY covers the United Kingdom!4. The United Kingdom is in the NORTHERN hemisphere...!
