You can bring the world of latitude and longitude coordinates into FileMaker. Use LatitudeZERO to: Calculate the distance between two ZIP codes, calculate the distance between coordinates, return results in miles, kilometers or nautical miles, determine whether coordinates are within our outside a specified radius convert distances from one unit of measure to another allocate Sales Reps / agents that live within a certain radius, sort records by distance, and more. LatitudeZERO is a set of custom functions and works with a regular version of FileMaker Pro as well as Runtime applications.FileMaker Developer 7 or FileMaker Pro 8+ Advanced is required in order to transfer the custom functions into your solutions. If you do not have FileMaker Developer or FileMaker Advanced, for a small fee Hi-Voltage can transfer the custom functions on your behalf. You do not need FileMaker Developer / Advanced for the evaluation.LatitudeZERO was named after latitude zero degrees, the alternative name for the equator.
