ImageType Description

Adds and/or appends the correct file extensions to image files ImageType is a very easy to use Mac app that will add or append file extensions to PNG, PICT, JPEG, etc. type image files when they are missing or are not the correct ones.A file may appear that it has no extension, when in fact it does. It could be that the extension is hidden. To verify this, select the file in the Finder, then select "Get Info" from the File menu. Check to see if the "Hide extension" checkbox is selected.NOTE: ImageType can only be purchased via the Mac App Store (the buy link redirects you to its App Store page). To purchase/download applications via the App Store an Apple account is required.
