IPTC Batcher Description

IPTC Batcher is a simple application designed to provide an organized graphical user interface for using the IPTC command line utility that has been developed by David Moore. To use IPTC Batcher you must make sure the IPTC Metadata Library is compiled and installed beforehand. You will have to indicate the path to the IPTC Metadata Library binary in the IPTC Batcher Preferences window. IPTC Batcher is extremely easy to use: drag and drop the images you want to process on top of the main window. IPTC Batcher will automatically detect the attributes that are empty and you will be able to input data through the appropriate panels. IPTC Batcher comes with batch processing capabilities and allows you to process all files at the same time or only the selected ones. In addition, you can add captions, change the title or add sequence numbers. IPTC Batcher is a great application if you are looking for a way to edit the International Press Telecommunications Council metadata that is attached to your image files.
