HideMeShowMe Description

HideMeShowMe - Alternately hide and show a folder HideMeShowMe alternately hides and shows a folder. It just changes the folder name by putting a dot in front of it. This makes it hidden from Finder. This is not much security, but keeps most users from suspecting the folder exists.Drop a folder on the HideMeShowMe icon and it will set the folder to be hidden. Double-click the icon and the folder will be hidden or shown.Make sure you use a new copy of HideMeShowMe for each folder to be hidden. (Name it anything you want.) If the folder is hidden and you set a new folder for a given HideMeShowMe, you will have no way to show the folder without using a terminal window!The HideMeShowMe Applescript application simply uses the Unix command "mv" to do the dirty work. Open a terminal window and type "man mv" for more information.
