A Firefox add-on that hides the find toolbar after a period of inactivity Hide Find Bar is a Firefox/Flock extension that hides the find toolbar after a user-defined interval of inactivity. By default it will disappear after 10 seconds of inactivity, this emulates the way the find bar behaves when using the FAYT feature. Hide the Find Bar will make the Find Bar disappear after a certain time interval of inactivity.I created the extension as an experiment, to get my feet wet as it were, and because I'm a real estate whore, I have an urge to utilize the most amount of viewable area as possible and sometimes I forget to close the find bar.HFB gives the find bar the same behaviour as the Find As You Type feature in Firefox, when activity in the find bar has been idle for a certain interval it will automatically disappear.
