Glove Description

Free data acquisition, manipulation, and analysis tool Glove was originally developed as the successor to Don Skelton's FFIT program for use in Caltech physics labs. Glove provides an interface to data acquisition systems, sophisticated (and correct) statistical analysis, a flexible plotting tool, and the ability to easily manipulate the data. Glove's modular design allows for custom data manipulation, acquisition, and analysis programs written in any language to be used from within its GUI.Glove is a powerful, easy-to-use alternative to gnuplot. What's New in This Release: · The fitting code has been completely rewritten from the ground up. It is much more robust and much quicker. It has also been expanded with the use of dynamically loadable fitting modules that implement only the fit function (an example module is included in the fitmodule directory). In addition, a new graphical fit window has been added to simplify the fit process. · Plots can now be printed to EPS files for easier inclusion in documents. · The online help is now searchable.
