Fake Menu Terms Description

Fake Menu Terms - OSAX that will declare two class names as variants of standard class names menu and menu item respectively Fake Menu Terms is a free AppleScript OSAX extension thatwill just declare two class names menu_ for "class cmnu" and menu_item for "class cmen" as variants of standard class names menu and menu item respectively. In AppleScript, ID reference to a menu object cannot be compiled. Also, depending on environment, there is a case that a menu item object cannot be compiled (if you have "Menu Events Scripting Addition" OSAX installed). You can avoid that problem by typing the raw code instead of the class name, or typing the variant class name declared in this OSAX. Either way, you have to type it every time you compile the script, though.Installation: To install the Fake Menu Terms extension you will have to move (or copy) the OSAX file into /Library/ScriptingAdditions folder. (If that folder does not exist, make it first by yourself.)
