Software to automate musical notation tasks FOMUS is a free and open source notation software package that automates many musical notation tasks. FOMUS is designed to facilitate the process of creating a professionally notated score from computer music software languages/environments such as CM/Grace, Pd, Lisp, etc.. FOMUS can also be used for other tasks such as creating scores from MIDI files or from scratch.FOMUS currently outputs the following file formats:· MusicXML (for import into Sibelius or Finale)· LilyPond· fms' Text File (FOMUS's native file format)
