ExportThings Description
The ExportThings AppleScript will help you save your entire Things database to your Mac's Desktop as Things Backup.txt, with only a mouse click. Moreover, once the script has ended, it will automatically play a sound to announce you of it (using the afplay command-line program and /System/Library/Sounds/Glass.aiff). ExportThings is based on the Things AppleScript Guide and the "Export Things to text file" script by John Wittig. More details about the script are available on the ExportThings project page.
