Dessy Description

Desktop search and synchronization software for mobile devices Dessy is and open source desktop search and synchronization framework for mobile devices. Dessy works on most devices that with a Java virtual machine. Dessy allows finding files using words in their contents, metadata, and user-assigned tags. Dessy has been developed at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT by Eemil Lagerspetz. Dessy uses the Syxaw XML-Aware File Synchronizer for synchronizing found results. NOTE: Dessy is licensed and distributed under the terms of the Apache License V2.0, GNU General Public License (GPL) and MIT Licenses.
