A free and open source file manager for your Mac Commanderbond is a free and open source, flexible, easy to use file manager that can emulate the classic 2-panel 'commander' style. Here are some key features of "CommanderBond": · Enhanced selection — avoid losing the selection as you scroll around in a long list of files. Mark files with the spacebar and they stay marked (with the *) until you unmark them, or press escape: you can then perform the usual actions: delete, copy, move etc. on all marked and selected files at once · bookmarks · Bookmarks sidebar: just like your browser, drag and drop directories onto the sidebar to bookmark them, organize your bookmarks into folders. · Shortcut buttons take you to your 'home' or the 'tmp' directory · The heart icon is a 'view bookmark' which saves the complete state of the current window — all the directories you have open, their sizes and positions. 'Get phots' is a view for fetching pictures off my digital camera: on the left the camera's directory, on the right my 'photos' directory. · See many directories at once. Commanderbuttons split the window vertically or horizontally.
