OpenVPN Service Menu is an open source project that tries to simplify the usage of the OpenVPN service, by creating an option to easily run any .ovpn or OpenVPN configuration file as an OpenVPN service. To install OpenVPN Service Menu on your Linux machine, you will need to download the .desktop file from the downloads section above, and copy it to the /usr/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/ directory. Users of the Porteus Linux operating system can simply activate the openvpn-service-menu.xzm module, which can be downloaded from the link above. Keep in mind that the OpenVPN Service Menu project is specifically designed for the KDE Software Compilation desktop environment and it does not work with any other window manager.
