Thongs is linux tool used to capture and filter network traffic, and to craft and inject custom ethernet frames. Thongs offers ncurses based user interface and requires no graphical environment. Thongs can decode ethernet, IPv4, ARP, UDP, ICMP and UDPCP protocols. Also adding own protocol parsers is easy. Thongs can be used to inject custom ethernet frames to network. Frames can also be saved to list which is loaded at startup for easy re-sending. Also undocumented C structure parser is included.
