Playing song to clipboard playCopy is a very simple Python script, witch could be executed in GNOME environment using a Hotkey and copies the current playing song (artist + title) to the clipboard. Supports various players.playCopy is a Python script, wich is designed for the people, who like to share the music they are listening with their friends in Skype, ICQ etc, using a simple global HotKey combination.The script works as follows:- Check if one of the supported players is playing- Copy the name of the artist and the title of the song- Combine the artist and the title in one string- Send the end string to the clipboardThe script supports the following players:- Rhythmbox- mocp- Exaile- Banshee- AudaciousInstallation: The installation is very simple.
