iStream is an applet to play internet radio streams. iStream is an applet to play internet radio streams. The project is a simple GNOME panel applet that lets you play internet radio streams (local files work too).It uses Gstreamer for playback. Written in C using Gtk+.Requirements:· GTK+ version 2.4.x.Install: < gstreamer of course > ./configure make make install To add the applet to the panel: Right Click on the Gnome panel->"Add too Panel"->Select "iStream" Configure:The radio stations are read from "~/.istream" file. iStream will create an example file on first start. To add a new stream put a new line on the end of the file.What's New in This Release:· This version make use of Gstreamer 0.10.· The design is updated and the song title scrolls during playback.· It is now possible to announce the current song in IRC (all programs).
