V-lib Description

V-lib is a library which provides some classes for IPC and socket manipulation. V-lib is a library developed by Stefanos Harhalakis, a couple of years ago, used in all his applications.Installation:Installation should not be a problem. I'm working on porting it on as many platforms as possible, but due to version changes, portability needs to be checked pretty often. As long as of version 1.5.0.4 it compiles on:· Linux - gcc 3.2.2 or older· OpenBSD - gcc 2.9x.x· Irix 6.4 (Do: set CC=cc and CCC=CC ; before configure)· Solaris 9 - gcc 3.2.2If you think that it will not compile on one of the above platforms, or you think it should be ported on another platform, please let me a note. V-lib provides some classes for IPC and socket manipulation. This means that those are needed for this to compile. It is a common thing, not to include IPC in linux kernel. If you think that this is annoying, let me a note and I'll make it optional.V-lib does NOT depend on any other library.
