TurnKey Elgg is an open source, lightweight, easy-to-use and installable Linux distribution based on Debian GNU/Linux and designed to deploy the Elgg software on a Linux server. Elgg is an award-winning and open source social networking engine software that features blogging, file sharing, groups, microblogging, networking, and much more other attractive functions. TurnKey Elgg Live CD includes upstream Elgg configurations, Postfix MTA, PHPMyAdmin, out-of-the-box SSL support, and Webmin modules for configuring Postfix, Apache, MySQL and PHP. The default username for SSH, Webmin, phpMyAdmin and MySQL is root, and the default username for Elgg is admin. TurnKey Elgg is also available as a virtual image, for OpenVZ, Xen, OVF, OpenStack and OpenNode.
