OSPFviz project is a visualization software that displays OSPF router information on dynamically routed networks. OSPFviz project is a visualization software that displays OSPF router information on dynamically routed networks and draws a network map as image.This can be very helpful when searching for asymmetrical routes, when designing load balancing or just for documentational purpose. Works on SNMP capable devices that implement the OSPF-MIB.Requirements:· Exporter· Getopt· Data::Dumper· Net::SNMP· Net::Ping - only needed when OSPF analyser is included· visualization backend, currently included are: · Graphviz - requires the GraphViz-Software (available here)· HyperGraph - no package requiredWhat's New in This Release:· The topology file uses XML format (backward compatible and convertible).· There are new visualization packages 'Prefuse Graphview', 'Prefuse NV2D', and 'GUESS'.· Support has been added for SNMPv3.· The OSPF analyser engine has been improved.· The hardware model and router type of discovered devices is shown.· Subroutines for access to topology files have been added.· There is an exclude list for skipping some devices.· Discovery also includes the interface name and description.
